Biography

Joses Arins Emanzi is a professional sound designer, audio engineer, music producer, composer, and performing artist based in Kampala, Uganda. As the founder of Mulika Studios, he is dedicated to fusing traditional African music with contemporary soundscapes, bringing a forward-thinking and globally competitive standard to East Africa's audio industry. Film, Television, and Media Credits Joses has an extensive portfolio in audio post-production and scoring for major regional and international media, including: Damalie (TV Series): Handled audio post-production for Season 2 and the first 70 episodes of Season 1, and composed the show's official theme music. Sanyu (TV Series); Composed the official theme song. Feature Films: Worked on Nkinzi (by Rehema Namakula) and Makula (by Nisha Kalema). Reality & TV Shows: Provided audio work for the Kanseeme reality show and the Prestige TV series. International Work: Mixed audio for the American children's puppet show, Rhythm Barnyard. He is a passionate lover of film and cinematic scores, and holds deep fascinations with technology, astrophysics, metaphysics, psychology, and Bible scholarship, with a specific interest in textual criticism.
